Emsworth Beer Festival
September 27 @ 5:30 pm - September 29 @ 4:00 pm£10
We are holding the 4th annual Emsworth Beer Festival from 27 to 29 September. We plan to have around 30 award winning and local beers, as well as ciders. We choose our beers following CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival in August, which enables us to present some of the Class Winners. Live music in the evenings adds to the great atmosphere
Wines and gins will be provided by Vin, Emsworth’s independent wine merchant.
A wide selection of baguettes with hot and cold fillings, as well as home made soup, all at very reasonable prices, will be provided by Le Petit Pain, the long-established and very popular sandwich bar in North Street, Emsworth.
The Festival is held in the Emsworth Community Centre, which is just a short walk from Emsworth Station. It’s also a stone’s throw from the 700 bus route. The Community Centre is at the bottom of North Street, just north of the A259 roundabout. It’s behind the Fire Station and opposite Tesco Express.
Tickets, which include a commemorative glass and a free pint, are only £10.
There will be four sessions:
- Friday 27 September – 5.30pm to 10.30pm
- Saturday 28 September – 11am to 5pm
- Saturday 28 September – 6pm to 10.30pm
- Sunday 29 September – 12 noon to 4pm This is a drink up session, with free admission and all remaining beers substantially discounted. 4-pint carry-outs will be available
If you or your business are interested in sponsoring a barrel we’d love to hear from you. Sponsorship costs only £100; you will receive 6 free tickets for you and your friends, and advertising on our promotional material and at the event. Most importantly you will be helping to ensure the financial viability of a great local event. Cheers!
