DESCRIPTION:At the time of posting this to our website\, already a quarter of the tickets to this Lindisfarne show have been sold\, and it’s still half a year away!  **UPDATE** – NOW COMPLETELY SOLD OUT WITH A WAITING LIST.  Clearly these veteran folk-rockers – who are responsible for so many great songs including ‘Lady Eleanor’\, ‘Meet Me on the Corner’\, ‘Fog on the Tyne’\, & ‘Run for Home’ – are still in HIGH demand 🙂 \n \n  \nWe are utterly delighted to have been able to book them for their Spring 2024 tour\, which will see them selling out much bigger venues.  Come and enjoy this legendary band in the intimate venue of St James Church\, Emsworth! \n  \n \n  \nThe band was originally formed in 1969 as Brethren (previously Downtown Faction) and changed their name to Lindisfarne the following year.  The lineup has understandably had its changes and today the band comprise: \nRod Clements – bass guitar\, violin\, guitar\, slide guitar\, mandolin\, lead and backing vocals (1968–1973\, 1976\, 1978–2004\, 2015–present) \nIan Thomson – bass guitar\, backing vocals (1990–2003\, 2013–present) \nDave Hull-Denholm – guitars\, keyboards\, lead and backing vocals (1994–2004\, 2013–present) \nSteve Daggett – vocals\, keyboards\, acoustic guitar\, harmonica (2013–present; touring member – 1986–1987) \nPaul Smith – drums (2021-present) \nCheck out the videos below to have a little listen to Lindisfarne in 1971\, and this past summer! \n \n \nDoors open 7.30 for an 8pm start. \nLicensed Bar helps support WemsFest. \nPlease don’t try to park on Church Path or the other small local roads – there is plenty of free car parking in local car parks. \nIf you require special assistance or have mobility difficulties\, please contact us in advance and we will do our very best to accommodate you so that you are comfortable. \n
